We got some seriously serious shows coming up this month of April, I will post the whole lineup later today. Oh and did we mention on May 1 WE ARE OPENING FOR THE SIGHTS?!?!? We are unbelievably excited and nervous to be sharing a stage with what we consider a legendary hard-working real rock n roll band. The show wll be at Bruar Falls, formerly the Lucky Cat on Grand and Roebling.

Unleashed in the East. KISS Alive!. Live and Dangerous. Those are among the greatest live recordings ever made. Well on November 20, 2009, join us at Trash Bar as we have an entire set recorded by our friend Nick Vivid to be released on Trash Fest 2. We're very excited to play at this event, and we hope you will come out and have a great time with us at one of our favorite rock and roll venues as we immortalize our live performances.

Good times at Beauty Bar last nite at Warner's party. We did a short 5 song set for an excellent crowd. This was the second performance with our new drummer, Mack Berkowitz (son of Mack) who is a great fit and a real pro. Photon Dynamo and the Shiny Pieces played before us, DJ Tony C spun rock n roll all nite, and Dyalekt made a guest performance during "Everyman for Himself".

Hey everyone,
You may or may not know this but we are currently without a drummer. Danny had to leave the band for work-related reasons. His tenure behind the kit was awesome, and there were no hard feelings at all (I'm too macho to have feelings in the first place). But we've lined up some great auditions for a replacement, and we'll keep the hiatus to a bare minimum. In the meantime to get your hard rock fix, head over to our media page

We've already started booking the next installment of our wildly popular "Kick Out The JMZ" parties/underground concert series, where we will no doubt break in the new drummer. Stay tuned, updates will be here and on the mailing list. Club dates will follow soon after, and we'll be right back on track! 6/26 Aftermath - Thanks to everyone who came out to the 6th Kick Out The JMZ Party in its new temporary location, club Matchless. The crowd was energetic, the sound was great, and it was nothin' but positive vibes all nite. A recap for those that missed it:
Set kicked off at 9:30. Little miscommunication with venue as it was listed as 10 o'clock, but the show must go on! We hit the stage with a vengeance, "Pay Yer Dues" opened up the set, and the room filled up before we knew it. Later in the set marked the second time we performed our epic "Eclipso". We did a really fun song swap with Anal06ue, as we performed their tune "Smoker" and they performed our classic "The Hair Stays (You Go!)" during their dangerous set. Turkuaz closed out the nite with their awesome funk/soul set. This was one of the strongest bills we've performed on, in our opinion, as we knew it would be. Again, thanks to those that came out for the show!

Kick Out The JMZ is next Friday Nite, 6/26 at Matchless! Anal06ue and Turkuaz will also be performing, and fans that survive the show will not leave unchanged. Matchless is located at 557 Manhattan Ave, at Driggs Ave, by McCarron Park. G to Nassau, or L to Bedford.

Hey everyone,
Thanks for coming out and supporting us at Trash Bar last nite, the turnout was excellent. Special thanks to Nick Vivid for doing a remarkable job running our sound. Last nite's ~~train wreck~~ set featured some new material and we hope you enjoyed.

In very cool news.....The Nuclears are on The Rock and Roll Geek Show! This is a premier rock and roll podcast/radio show (of which I am a huge fan), and to close out an awesome show (featuring some Cheap Trick and UFO tracks) he plays "What's Happenin'". Wicked cool. Check out the Rock and Roll Geek Show, they play great tunes and interview the biggest names in hard rock. \m/

Hey everyone, a reminder that our showcase at Trash Bar is coming up this Saturday, June 6. Cost is $7, there's an open bar from 8-9, we play at 11PM, and Photon Dynamo plays after us at 12 midnight. We have a killer set lined up, including the debut of our DC Comics-themed mini-epic "Eclipso" along with some red-hot Nuclears live staples. See you there!

New Shows
The Charleston- This Thursday, 4/16. Opening timeslot, 9:30 or 10 oclock. Easily accessible from the Bedford stop on the L Train. Come out and check out our performance, as well as our friends in Morgan Ave, The Broomstars and Schocholatte!

The Hank's Saloon Show that was alluded to on Saturday in an email update has been cancelled due to double-booking.

Analogue's CD Release- Friday, 4/24 at the Opera House Lofts. Nukes at 9:30. Free beer for first 50 people that show up. 3 kegs. Members of the band will be jamming with other acts throughout the course of the nite.

The Kick Out The JMZ party in Bushwick has been postponed until next weekend due to renovations of the venue. We guarantee it's gonna be worth the wait. The line-up as it stands now is as follows:

The "Kick Out The JMZ" concerts last weekend were a huge success. All of the bands on both Friday and Saturday put on killer performances, the exhibitions were great, and the beer/booze was all free. Look for updates about this month's installment of the Kick Out The JMZ; details will be posted here when we get them.

The Nuclears are headed back to the studio! From Wednesday to Friday (Mar. 18-20) we will be recording with MegaPlatinum Entertainment. We're going in to record our hit song "The Hair Stays (You Go)". Here's the kicker: the whole thing is going to be streamed live from the studio, so you can check in with us from 6:00pm-11:00pm, March 18-20 at megaplatinum.net and hang out with us as we go through the recording process and lay down one of our classic songs!
